Report on all about automation in Hamburg

The trade fair year was originally due to start in January with all about automation in Hamburg. However, due to the pandemic, the trade fair was postponed to the last week of June. As in previous years, the two days of the trade fair for the approx. 130 exhibitors started with a "rush" of visitors in the morning who wanted to find out about the latest automation solutions on the market. As usual, the halls became somewhat "quieter" towards the afternoon.

All in all, IPF employees were pleased to see numerous familiar and a large number of new "faces" at the trade fair stand. "Many visitors came to us with specific tasks, whereby our color and line sensors, along with the sensors for transparent objects, were of particular interest to our visitors. We also noticed that the use of industrial LED machine and signal lights is indispensable for many people," concludes Sarah Ahrens, application specialist at ipf electronic.

Along with the technical discussions, including on the various sensor solutions from IPF, the tense situation on the procurement market was also a recurring topic at the center of the intensive discussions at the trade fair stand.

The next all about automation in Hamburg is expected to take place again in winter. Sarah Ahrens comments: "Thanks to the incredibly good organization of the trade fair, we are optimistic that we will be able to welcome many visitors to our stand again from 25 to 26 January 2023."
