Ho, ho, ho Santa Claus has arrived!

According to legend, he performed numerous miracles and helped poor children. Ultimately, this gave rise to the myth of the merciful helper and protector who gives gifts to children at night without being recognized.

The well-known appearance of St. Nicholas goes back to the German emigrant Thomas Nast. He drew St. Nicholas alias Santa Claus in the USA as early as 1862 with a white beard, red sheath and fur-trimmed cap.

Unfortunately, we can't confirm whether Thomas Nast was right with his description, because no one at ipf has seen Santa Claus leave a sweet surprise for every employee either. But he certainly made us very happy with it!
