Practical and inspiring: healthy leadership at ipf

At ipf, we are convinced that a healthy management team forms the basis for a healthy company. For this reason, we have organized a special seminar on "Healthy Leadership" for our managers in cooperation with the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance company and the Institute for Health Prevention (IFGP).

The two-day seminar took place from March 14th to March 20th, 2024 in our own training rooms. Under the professional line of Jennifer Denkler (IFGP), our 22 managers went through intensive training sessions. In an atmosphere of open exchange, the focus was on creating an understanding of the importance of health in the workplace.

One straightforward topic was the role of managers as multipliers for health in the company. Jennifer Denkler emphasized the crucial role of managers in promoting a healthy working environment and showed ways in which they can reduce their own stress levels and recognize them at an early stage.

One effective tool was the "first aid kit", which contained various measures for coping with stress. Each participant was able to identify and record suitable measures for themselves.

The first day of the seminar ended with a focus on personal energy levels and practical tips for recharging personal resources.

The second day focused on the diverse tasks and challenges of a manager. Important aspects such as sport, break management, relaxation techniques and sleep were covered. At the end of the seminar, communication techniques and the four-ears model according to Schulz von Thun were once again discussed intensively.

Our managers found the seminar extremely enriching and inspiring. It not only raised awareness of the importance of health in everyday working life, but also provided concrete tools and strategies to implement it. We are convinced that this will have a lasting impact on the well-being and performance of our employees and on the success of our company.
