Summer, sun, party mood

Exactly one day after the meteorological beginning of summer, ipf electronic's annual summer party starts on June 2. "Same procedure as every year?". Far from it, because this event is always a highlight for us.

 

This year, we did not choose the company building on Rosmarter Allee as the venue, but the Hopfen&Salz restaurant in Lüdenscheid. The cozy pub with a special ambience is located in the building of the former Brauhaus Schillerbad and only opened in February 2023. The restaurant is very appreciated for its high-quality and home-style cooking by many guests. And there is no lack of a sufficient selection of refreshments either, as in addition to non-alcoholic beverages, more than 20 types of draft beer and more than 100 types of beer in bottles or cans are offered.

 

110 employees of ipf electronic attended this year's already traditional summer party, where there was once again the opportunity to warmly welcome some "former" and retired employees.

 

No summer party without a few words from the managing directors Dirk Neuhaus, Bodo Hano and Christian Fiebach to the assembled guests. Of course, the closure of the A45 due to the dilapidated and meanwhile blown up Rahmedetal bridge was also a topic. In this context, Dirk Neuhaus emphasized that the closure was a great burden and challenge for a number of employees, some of whom had to put up with long detours and long travel times on their way to work and home. Dirk Neuhaus described the procurement of important parts and components for sensor production as still a major challenge. In his view, it is above all long delivery times and sometimes exorbitantly high and economically hardly justifiable procurement prices that particularly characterize the situation in purchasing.

 

In his speech, Bodo Hano once again recalled the move to the new company building about three years ago and the successful merger of ipf electronic. He emphasized that the central company location has, among other things, noticeably improved the team spirit among the employees, the cohesion and not least the cooperation between the individual departments in the company and has led to many positive effects.

 

Special sensor solutions are a particular strength of ipf electronic, was the quintessence of Christian Fiebach's speech, in which he described, among other things, a concrete practical example of a specific customer solution. Although the development and realization of such special devices involves a great deal of effort, they nevertheless offer a wide range of potential for making the company even better known and positioning it in a highly specialized segment.

 

A very nice tradition of our summer party each year is the often very emotional tribute to our long-serving employees and anniversaries, which this time was bestowed on a total of 24 people. This includes seven employees who have been loyal to the company for 20 years or more.

 

This is also a good reason to celebrate extensively. Therefore, of course, the exuberant party until the early morning with professional support from DJ Ceyhun from Lüdenscheid could not be missed as a crowning finale.
