Interest in the now 32nd edition of the PLC (programmable logic controller) (Smart Production Solutions) is high, with around 1300 exhibitors expected in Nuremberg from November 14-16, significantly more than in previous years. The exhibition organizer has therefore added two more halls to the exhibition area.

In what will now be 16 exhibition halls, visitors will have the opportunity to find out about current trends and developments in multi-faceted areas of automation.ipf electronic will again be represented in Hall 7A (Booth 400), as it was last year, and will present a whole range of innovations from the world of sensor technology.

A lot of time saved through "Plug & Play”

The push-in fluid connection for hose diameters of 4mm, 6mm and 8mm allows for an extremely simple and quick installation via plug & play, even in existing pneumatic systems. For this purpose, the compressed air hose must simply be plugged onto the quick connector and can be released again, if necessary, by pulling back a safety ring. No other connection components are required.

Real novelty: Straight 3-pole M8 sensor actuator coupling with LED indicator

In response to many customer requests, ipf electronic now offers 3-pole M8 couplings for sensor-actuator cables with LED indicator in straight design. The new compact solutions are now available with single or double assembled connection cables.

High repeat accuracy via the entire range

ipf electronic complements its portfolio of diffuse-reflection laser sensors with background suppression with the PT440306 (laser class 1). Unlike previous solutions, the operating principle of this device is based on time-of-flight measurement, which means that even small objects can now be detected from greater distances with the highest possible accuracy.

Robust solution from ipf electronic with fast response time

With the SS500020 (protection class IP67) ipf electronic introduces a thermal flow sensor with M12-connector for measuring the flow velocity and temperature (0 to 80°C) of water-based media in pipelines. The SS500020, which is pressure-resistant up to a maximum of 60bar, impresses above all with its fast response time (<1s) and high insensitivity to temperature fluctuations.

New additional lights for camera sensors with high-power LEDs from ipf electronic

The special high-power LEDs have a higher light output of up to 16W (ER1Dxxx) and bundle the light with focusing lenses, resulting in a light emission angle of approximately 20° for the ring lights and approximately 13° for the spot lights (ES46xxx).
