The operating temperature range of classic sensors reaches its upper limit at around +80°C. With conventional optical devices, the maximum permissible ambient temperatures are even much lower than this. If it becomes warmer or really hot, limits must be exceeded as far as the temperature stability of the sensors is concerned.
