The new generation of optoelectronic safety light curtains is an effective and cost-saving alternative to conventional mechanical protective devices. In automated production and manufacturing processes, effective accident and personal protection have absolutely top priority.

Safety light grids form an invisible protective field of infrared beams that can be used to secure access to the hazardous area and danger points.

In addition, the extensive range of accessories for the new products from ipf electronic should leave hardly any wishes unfulfilled. In addition to mounting brackets, special rotatable brackets are now offered with which the devices can be attached directly to a mounting surface without the need for an additional bracket. Also new are the optional, very robust protective housings for the light curtains, which are designed to IP69K and thus reliably protect the devices in applications with extremely harsh environmental conditions. Analogous to the adjustable EDM function for finger and hand protection, the safety relays now also have an NC contact in addition to the three NO contacts. Incidentally, the floor mounting, which is also available as an option, has been equipped with a spirit level for fast and safe alignment. Furthermore, deflection mirrors, laser pointers as well as connection cables and test rods are part of the extensive accessories portfolio.

The OY32 and OY36 safety light curtains have the maximum performance level e (PL 'e'), SIL category 3 (DIN EN ISO 13849-1) as well as category 4 and are certified in accordance with IEC 61496-2 (electro-sensitive protective equipment).
