Compact cylinder sensors for T-slot mounting.
ipf electronic presents the compact cylinder sensors MZA70176 and MZA70156 for sensing the piston rod position of pneumatic cylinders with T-slot.
Both innovations feature an optimized mounting concept for installation. The sensor housing is rotated by 90 degrees, inserted into the T-slot from above, rotated back again by 90 degrees and finally fastened in the T-slot with a grub screw. In this way, the cylinder sensors are always precisely fixed and can be absolutely securely fastened again even if a slight repositioning of the device in the T-slot should be necessary.
The MZA70176 replaces the predecessor model MZ070176 and is designed for an operating temperature range up to +70° C. Due to the very short overall length, this sensor is ideal for use in short pneumatic cylinders. The MZA70176 is connected via an oil-resistant PUR cable that is also suitable for drag chains.
With the MZA70156, ipf electronic also presents a cylinder sensor for T-slot mounting that has been specially developed for applications with increased thermal stress thanks to an extended operating temperature range of up to +130° C. The MZA70156 is suitable for use in short pneumatic cylinders. This solution has an extended connection cable made of Teflon (600mm) and is therefore suitable, for example, for monitoring pneumatic cylinders on plastic injection molds.
The new MZA70176 and MZA70156 cylinder sensors in robust metal housings are also characterized by their extremely high durability, high positional accuracy and exact switching point reproducibility, as well as their completely wear-free operation.
