Inductive all-metal sensors with IO-Link

Inductive proximity switches are playing an increasingly important role in automation technology. All-metal sensors made of stainless steel are generally the preferred solution here. That is why the new IO120128 perfectly complements the ipf electronic portfolio in this area. The sensor consists of a one-part stainless steel housing (V2A, 1.4305) and features an M12 plug connection.

 

The IO1200128 is short-circuit protected, reverse polarity protected, intended for non-flush mounting and has a switching frequency of 300Hz. The operating temperature of the pnp normally open device is in the range of -20°C to +85°C. Adverse working conditions in which the use of oils and coolants contaminate the sensor surface are no problem for this innovation with degree of protection IP67 or IP69k. In addition, the active surface is pressure-proof up to 80bar. The IO120128 also impresses when it comes to the switching distance, which (relating to a norm measuring plate 45 x 45 x 1mm, FE360) amounts to 15mm and is therefore almost four times the norm sensing range of 4mm. The switching state is displayed with a yellow LED. Universal mounting AY000115 is recommended as a mounting accessory.

 

Last but not least, the new sensor is IO-Link-capable and can be configured via the corresponding interface with the help of IO-Link master VY000005. The user also receives valuable process data via IO-Link.
