Oases in the new ipf building

They supply the adjoining rooms with daylight. The terraces were designed so that they can be used by employees and visitors to relax outdoors. The light-colored covering made of ceramic composite tiles as well as the planting of lush green sedum and the inviting furnishings contribute to this.

 

Along with the basic architectural idea, functional aspects played the main role in the implementation. The terraces therefore have a special substructure with integrated drainage and a top layer of water-storing expanded shale. Additional watering of the sedum perennials is therefore not necessary.

 

The fresh air oases have now been inaugurated in glorious May weather and are available for use during break times and company events.
