Behind the scenes - Commercial line

He started his journey at IPF on September 1, 2005 - as an intern at the time. Just a few months later, in February 2006, he was taken on permanently and moved to the IT department. What followed was an impressive career: he took over as Head of IT in 2010, became Head of Commercial Management in 2018 and has also been an authorized signatory at IPF since July 2021.

In his role, he acts as a link between the management and the department heads. His tasks are extensive and varied - one area of which is the structural and commercial development of the company. This includes modernizing processes and keeping an eye on the growing requirements - with accuracy, foresight and the typical Christopher precision mode.

Internally, Christopher is known as our "loving Monk", not because he is overly fussy, but because he simply doesn't miss a thing. Order, structure, perfection? Just his thing. He plans with foresight, designs clear processes and ensures that everything runs smoothly in the end.

To compensate, he regularly goes mountain biking - preferably in the Alps, on his JobRad, of course. A glance at his office shows that this is not just a slogan: the poster on the wall speaks volumes. He is also part of our IPF climbing group, which meets every week along with the company building in the Kletterwelt Sauerland to climb or boulder together. So he not only collects altitude meters in the mountains, but also right next door.
