IPF shows presence again

On May 6 and 7, 2026, ipf electronic gmbh from Altena consolidated its presence at the all about automation in Heilbronn. For the third time in a row, IPF used the platform to present itself as a competent partner for industrial sensor technology. This year, 214 exhibitors welcomed 2643 trade visitors, an increase of 15% on the previous year.

The IPF trade fair team recorded very good visitor quality and a noticeable increase in qualified inquiries.

The focus of interest was on the presentation of the new pressure sensors DW5xpressure sensors, which impressed visitors with their precision, universal application possibilities in pressure ranges between -1 and 600 bar for liquid and gaseous media, and easy handling via a TFT display. Another highlight of the new pressure sensors is the additional recording and evaluation of the media temperature.

Our trade fair exhibit on the new programmable LED RGB signal lights was a particular crowd-puller. Programmed via IO-Link and controlled via various fill level sensors, these impressively demonstrated their versatility from status and segment formation via fill level display to countdown function.

Leakage detection: A top topic for direct indentation of energy costs and increasing sustainability in compressed air systems.

Flow measurement: Flow and consumption measurement of liquid media for harsh environmental conditions using the SM89-95x

The trade fair was once again a complete success. In particular, the combination of the new DW5x-series, the flow measurement SM89-95x and the flexible LED solutions underlines the relevance of ipf electronic gmbh as a driver of innovation in the region, Germany and Europe.
