Rüdiger Steinhoff retires after 37 years of service

These were the words of Rüdiger Steinhoff on the occasion of his retirement by Christian Fiebach, Managing Director of ipf electronic gmbh.

Mr. Steinhoff was one of the first employees to join ipf electronic on September 17, 1984, working as an application engineer in the field service. From his home in Hanover, he looked after the old zip code areas 1000, 2000 and 3000, which also included West Berlin. He still has straightforward memories of the border controls and the journey to Berlin via the former transit route. With reunification and the fall of the Berlin Wall, Mr. Steinhoff took over responsibility for the entire new federal states and was thus the ipf pioneer in this area. "I have always enjoyed acquiring new customers," says Rüdiger Steinhoff. As the customer base grew, new sales colleagues were added, which reduced the area of responsibility to the greater area around the capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover. Health problems later led to him switching to technical support at ipf electronic. From his home office, Mr. Steinhoff supported the team of technicians who provide telephone support to ipf electronic's customers and interested parties. His immense application knowledge and wealth of experience were of particular benefit to him.

The management and all colleagues at ipf electronic would like to express their sincere thanks for his special commitment, dedication and loyalty. His retirement marks the beginning of a time full of freedom, enjoyment and new opportunities. We wish Mr. Steinhoff all the best for this new phase of his life!
