Detlev Rössel retired in April 2026. A man who has left his mark on ipf product sales over 38 years of service.

When Detlev Rössel joined the company in 1987, he had the ideal qualifications as a technician for field sales in the field of industrial sensors. Based in Witten in North Rhine-Westphalia, he took on the challenging task of steadily expanding ipf electronic's level of awareness and customer base.

With the founding of the sales company ipf electronic gmbh vertrieb mitte in April 1997, Detlev Rössel took over the management of the company and thus the sales responsibility for North Rhine-Westphalia, parts of Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. He formed a powerful team of field and office staff and steadily drove the company's growth.

In 2014, ipf electronic gmbh vertrieb mitte was merged into ipf electronic gmbh vertrieb deutschland, where Detlev Rössel was appointed Managing Director. His area of responsibility thus grew to cover the entire territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Parallel to moving into the new company headquarters in 2020, ipf electronic gmbh vertrieb deutschland was merged with ipf electronic gmbh and Detlev Rössel joined ipf electronic gmbh as Managing Director. In this position, he continued to be responsible for domestic sales activities and led a team of 18 sales representatives and 8 office staff with great success.
