VERTICAL PRO 2025 trade fair

ipf electronic broke new ground with its participation in VERTICAL PRO in Friedrichshafen from November 21 to 22. The trade fair is regarded as a particularly interactive trade fair for climbing and bouldering gyms. New products can be tested and compared live on site free of charge in the DEMO + TEST AREA.

The ideal setting for a product from ipf electronic, which transfers technology that has been tried and tested in industrial applications to the leisure sector. The BELAYCHECK, a self-belay check for auto-belay systems, was presented.

Auto-belay climbing (climbing on auto-belay systems without a belay partner) is becoming increasingly popular in climbing gyms. Climbers can quickly switch between routes, improve their technique and endurance and train flexibly and independently.

Unfortunately, it happens time and again that straight ambitious or distracted climbers forget to clip into the self-belay device correctly. Serious accidents, some even resulting in death, are proof of the existing accident risks.

This is where the BELAYCHECK from ipf electronic provides a remedy. It reports the unsecured entry of a climber into a climbing wall and means a big plus in safety and at the same time time time and cost savings in hall operation.

Both at the LIVE DEMO in the TEST AREA and at the ipf trade fair stand, the BELAYCHECK generated a great deal of enthusiasm and interest among the trade visitors. The ipf trade fair team consisting of developers, product managers and sales staff brought many new national and international contacts with them to Altena. The series production and product launch of the system is now being tackled with a good feeling and a lot of enthusiasm. These are planned for the 1st quarter of 2026.
