Summer vibes

The coronavirus has been with us every day for more than two years and we have had to live with many restrictions. As a result, IPF has not held a summer party since 2019.

Now there were several reasons to be happy. We were finally able to celebrate our popular summer party again this year and also a milestone birthday, as our company was founded 40 years ago. On 24.06.22, our new company building provided us with the perfect venue for a summer party with a joint birthday party.

The welcome speech by Managing Director Dirk Neuhaus therefore also focused on the milestone birthday, combined with a brief review of the past 40 years of our company history. In his subsequent speech, Managing Director Bodo Hano emphasized the importance of "an IPF", with which we can master current and future challenges even better together. In this context, Bodo Hano emphasized that the merger of three companies to form ipf electronic gmbh, which was completed at the end of 2020, had very quickly led to positive effects such as accelerated work processes due to the new straight company location alone. Finally, Managing Director Christian Fiebach spoke about interesting major projects that we have been able to realize together with customers in recent months.

The honoring of the jubilarians was particularly emotional. In 1987, just five years after the company was founded, ipf electronic had around seven employees. In the meantime, the workforce has grown to 140 employees, including colleagues who were there from the very beginning. More than 70 employees were honored for their many years of loyalty. A moving moment was the tribute to company co-founder Reinhard Siringhaus, who received a standing ovation and a huge round of applause.

Of course, there was also plenty of partying, because with DJ Steve T (Steven Tingling) from Cologne, we had hired a professional disc jockey who brought a lot of momentum to the party with his hot rhythms and summer vibes. And those who wanted to refresh themselves after dancing could have a delicious cocktail (also non-alcoholic) mixed at the bar or see what the rich buffet from the "Altdeutsche Bierstube", a restaurant very popular in Lüdenscheid for its excellent cuisine, had to offer.

All employees agree: the first summer party after two years was simply great! And we are already looking forward to next year's party.
