Strengthening motivation, conveying the feeling of being able to overcome major challenges, promoting team spirit, getting to know new colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere and celebrating successes together - these are just some of the aims of our annual event for our department heads.

After a three-year break due to the coronavirus, the popular three-day event took place again this year for the first time. On the first day, the group of 14 met up for an e-mountain bike tour through the beautiful Sauerland region. The participants were able to fortify themselves at a restaurant and the newcomers to the company were able to get to know their future colleagues better.

For the start of the second day, ipf electronic had hired an external coach who imparted valuable knowledge and many practical tips on the topics of communication, conflict management and personal development at the Hotel Rimberg in the Hochsauerland district. After this training, some of the fresh experiences and knowledge could be put directly into practice during an outdoor event.

In a training area that is only accessible via a mountain tunnel, the participants had to solve various tasks as a group and overcome real challenges. One of the highlights was certainly the task of abseiling team members via a 35-metre-high rock face. The BBQ at the end of the day provided plenty of opportunity to reflect on the informative and exciting day.

At the end of the event, on the third and final day, everyone came together again to discuss the active further development of ipf electronic as a sensor specialist.

We hope to be able to hold the event again regularly in the future, as it is not only a great thank you for our long-standing department heads, but also an ideal event for new employees in particular to get to know our family business better.
