Digital press kit for the SPS 2024
Smart Production Solutions (sps) is undoubtedly one of the trade fair highlights in the automation industry this fall. This year, sps starts on November 12, a good two weeks earlier than usual. Around 50,000 visitors are expected in Nuremberg over the three days of the trade fair.
ipf electronic, based in Altena (Sauerland), has been taking part in the leading meeting of the automation community in southern Germany for decades and will once again be presenting a range of new products with its trade fair team at Stand 131 in Hall 7A this year. Here are some of the highlights:
Perennial favorites
Sustainable energy monitoring and/or targeted process data acquisition are perennial favourites when it comes to saving energy costs or gaining an overview of the actual capacity utilization of a production facility. However, these are also tiresome topics for all companies that have not yet taken action in this area. With the IIoT gateway BY000002 and the extension modules AB000008 and AB000009 IPF now has a simple, cost-effective and always scalable solution.
Fan?
It doesn't have to be, because with the YY77 IPF presents a sensor series that analyzes indoor environmental conditions. The solutions measure the parameters absolute pressure, room temperature and air humidity.
Far more than contactless linear measurement
The incremental sensor VO330570 is an optical displacement measurement system that can do far more than its name initially suggests.
Radar instead of light or ultrasonic
The high-precision radar sensor FR900020 from IPF is a real alternative for applications in which optical sensors or ultrasonic sensors reach their limits due to environmental conditions such as temperature, gas or steam, positive or negative pressure or vacuum as well as dust and interfering ambient light.
The digital press kit provides a complete overview of all new products via the PLC (programmable logic controller).
