ipf electronic plans new company headquarters
Groundbreaking ceremony for ambitious project
ipf electronic gmbh is getting a new company headquarters. The sensor specialist from Lüdenscheid (Sauerland) is staying true to its location, as the new building is being constructed close to the current company headquarters.
After a lengthy planning phase, the ground-breaking ceremony was recently held for ipf electronic's new company building, which offers around 6,000 square meters of floor space on two floors. All employees from all local branches will work in the future company headquarters located in the Märkischer Gewerbepark Rosmart (MGR).
"Until now, we have been spread across four locations for historical reasons. Now the two branches of ipf electronic gmbh as well as ipf electronic gmbh technic and ipf electronic vertrieb deutschland gmbh will be centralized in the new building. This will simplify internal communication and speed up many processes. Overall, we hope to achieve a number of positive synergy effects, from which our customers and business partners in particular will benefit," explained Christian Fiebach, Managing Director of ipf electronic, during the ground-breaking ceremony.
The new building will include offices with ergonomically designed workstations, state-of-the-art training and meeting rooms, an ESD-compliant production facility, a central warehouse with a modern packing line and testing and development laboratories. The building will therefore meet all the requirements of a modern company headquarters. "The future company headquarters offers sufficient potential for flexible growth. This also includes a generously dimensioned site area of around 15,700 square meters, which allows us to extend the building on two sides so that the new location is secured for decades to come. In addition, we have placed great emphasis on sustainability in the overall planning, which also takes ecological aspects into account," says Dirk Neuhaus, Managing Director of ipf electronic.
The new company headquarters will therefore be equipped with a photovoltaic system, among other things, which will cover a large part of the company's own electricity requirements. In addition, charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed in the parking areas next to the company building.
Once the shell of the building has been completed, probably in the fall of 2018, the interior work will begin. "We hope to be able to start moving into our new company headquarters in the second quarter of 2019," explains Dirk Neuhaus.
