Compact cylinder sensors for T-slot mounting
New solutions from ipf with optimized fastening concept
ipf electronic presents the compact cylinder sensors MZA70176 and MZA70156 for the inquiry of the piston rod position of pneumatic cylinders with T-slot.
Both new products have an optimized mounting concept. The sensor housing is rotated by 90 degrees, inserted into the T-slot from above, rotated back again by 90 degrees and then fastened in the T-slot with a grub screw. This ensures that the cylinder sensors are always precisely fixed and can be securely fastened again even if the device needs to be repositioned slightly in the T-slot.
The MZA70176 replaces the predecessor model MZ070176 and is designed for an operating temperature range up to +70° C. Due to its very short length, this sensor is ideal for use in short pneumatic cylinders. The connection of the MZA70176 is connected via an oil-resistant PUR line that is also suitable for trailing chains.
With the MZA70156 ipf electronic also presents a cylinder sensor for T-slot mounting that has been specially developed for applications with increased thermal loads thanks to its extended operating temperature range of up to +130° C. This solution has an extended Teflon connection cable (600mm) and is therefore suitable, for example, for the inquiry of pneumatic cylinders on plastic injection molds.
The new cylinder sensors MZA70176 and MZA70156 in robust metal housing are also characterized by the fact that they are extremely hard-wearing, have a high positional accuracy and exact switching point reproducibility and also work completely wear-free.
