Move to the new company building on January 10

The interior fit-out of ipf electronic's new company headquarters is almost complete. The first employees will move into their offices at the beginning of January 2020

The new building with a total floor space of around 6,000 square meters enables the consolidation of ipf electronic gmbh, ipf electronic gmbh technic and ipf electronic vertrieb deutschland gmbh. In order to minimize the impact on business operations, the merger of the current four Lüdenscheid company locations will take place in three stages. On January 10, the administration and warehouse will move to the new headquarters in the Märkischer Gewerbepark Rosmart in Altena, not far from the previous company headquarters in Lüdenscheid. Due to this move, ipf electronic will not be available on this day.

In a second step, the offices of the Export Division and Domestic Sales will follow in February. Finally, the merger will be completed in March with the relocation of the production and development departments. "In the new company headquarters, around 100 of the total of around 140 employees will ultimately work together under one roof, which we hope will result in shorter distances, more efficient communication and a number of additional positive synergy effects, from which our customers in particular should benefit," says Christian Fiebach, Managing Director of ipf electronic.

ipf electronic's new headquarters include offices with ergonomically designed workstations, state-of-the-art training and meeting rooms, an ESD-compliant production facility, a central warehouse with a modern packing line and testing and development laboratories. Great importance was also attached to sustainability in the overall planning. A photovoltaic system is therefore located on the roof of the new building, which will cover a large part of the company's own electricity requirements. In addition, charging stations for electric vehicles will be installed in the parking areas next to the company building.
