Pressure sensors for temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C
New devices from IPF with IO-Link interface
The DW25-series pressure sensors from IPF impress above all with their exceptionally wide media temperature range from
-40 °C to +100 °C. Due to their measuring ranges of -0.1bar...0.1bar (DW25310N) and 0bar...0.25bar (DW25310P), the devices are suitable for particularly demanding environments and are ideal for static level measurements in containers with liquids, e.g. hydraulic oils, cooling lubricant emulsions, etc. or as 2-point controllers for controlling pumps.
Both devices with G1/4" process connection have two outputs, a pure switching output and a second output whose function is variably switchable via IO-Link as switching, analog (0...20mA, 4...20mA) or alarm output. The IO-Link interface also enables additional demand-specific and thus individual parameterization: e.g. simple switchover from normally open to normally closed, setting of switching and release position, hysteresis settings, window function, definition of a turn-on/turn-off delay, storage of minimum and maximum value or setting of damping, e.g. to smooth the measured values of very dynamic pressure fluctuations.
With the DW25 IPF complements its portfolio of compact pressure sensors, which are designed as "all-rounders" for all gaseous and liquid media (non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic).
