High-speed camera systems from ipf

Even more convenient and versatile thanks to further developments

With the high-speed camera systems OC29 (monochrome or color) from ipf electronic can be used to track fast-running processes and quickly identify possible sources of error with a targeted analysis. The user interface of the supplied software has been revised for the current camera versions and the range of lenses has been expanded. This makes it even easier and more convenient to put the devices into operation and also allows them to be used more flexibly.

Multiple camera operation via one interface

The new software version for the OC29 now allows the integration of several high-speed cameras on a uniform interface. This means that several cameras can be configured and operated in one application straight via a PC, for example to observe and subsequently analyze fast-moving processes simultaneously from different perspectives. This new function also makes it possible to use several high-speed cameras in areas such as quality assurance, e.g. to document the complete assembly of complex assemblies such as engine units. For this purpose, e.g. the components of an assembly to be tested are recorded from different angles, with individual images then serving as proof of the complete assembly.

New lens with liquid lens

Previously, the high-speed cameras OC29 high-speed cameras were only available with C-mount lenses with manual focusing of the camera image. The liquid lens, which is now available as an option, makes start-up and operation of the cameras even easier, as the focus can be set simply via a software slider. The lens is connected to the PC via a cable with M8 connector and USB connection, which also contains the camera software with the user interface. An electronic module specially developed by ipf electronic handles communication between the PC and the lens with liquid lens.

In order for the liquid lens to receive the correct focus in a specific application with the help of the software, it is only necessary to align the camera on the area to be monitored and set the software controller so that a sharp camera image can be seen on the user interface.
