Very simple room disinfection

With the EY98E309 ipf electronic presents an LED disinfection device that only requires a conventional power socket for start-up.
The solution based on UVC technology is used for the dry disinfection of room air. The air drawn in via a fan is conveyed through the housing and swirled so strongly that a disinfection rate of up to 99.9 percent can be achieved. The air circulation rate of the device, which is very quiet with a noise level of 25.1 db(A), is 133 cubic meters per hour. As the UVC radiation from the internal light source is completely shielded by the housing, people can safely stay in the immediate vicinity of the EY98E309 during operation.
UVC light with a wavelength of 280 to 100 nanometers has a strong virucidal and bacteriocidal effect. Harmful germs, bacteria and viruses are therefore killed within seconds, with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology confirming its effectiveness.
The LED disinfection device can be suspended horizontally from the ceiling using the mounting material supplied. In addition, the EY98E309 can also be mounted perpendicular to a wall using the optional feet. In all cases, the device should be placed as close as possible to the potential aerosol source. If the room height is between 2.50 and 2.80 m, one disinfection device should be used per 50 square meters of floor space, whereby up to 15 people (max. 8 people for sports activities) may be present in this area.
