Tool - Stripping pliers
This wire stripping tool for single cores can be individually set to any diameter between 0.3 and 1.0 mm (AWG 28 ... 18). The tool is suitable for various insulation materials such as PVC, TEFLON®, KYNAR®, TEFZEL®, or MYLAR®. The minimum possible stripping length is a straight 1.5 mm. The tool has a version that ensures the copper strand is not damaged during the stripping process.
If the wire diameter is unknown, the conductor can still be stripped safely by working in several steps, starting with the largest diameter and gradually narrowing down to the correct value.
