Did you know that compressed air is one of the most expensive forms of energy in industry?

This is mainly due to the energy costs for generating compressed air. After all, approx. 70-80% of the total expenditure of a compressed air system is accounted for by electricity costs. Even for smaller systems, these costs can quickly add up to €10,000 - 20,000 per year. In the future, this figure is likely to increase even further, given the constant rise in electricity prices!

Added to this are the costs for generating clean and dry compressed air, which are due to the operation of refrigeration dryers and adsorption dryers. Taken together, these are immensely high costs, but they can usually be significantly reduced - even with apparently well-operated systems.

How? By continuously measuring and recording the actual compressed air consumption. This allows deviating consumption and even the smallest leaks to be recognized at an early stage.
