Inductive sensors detect conductive metals at short distances and are not subject to interference from other materials, making them the top choice for use in soiled areas and other harsh environmental conditions.
This sensor, manufactured in accordance with EN 60947-5-2, is suitable for all standard applications. The switching distance is factory-set using a norm measuring plate whose edge length corresponds to the diameter of the sensor surface.
According to this standard, the flush-mountable IB080100 sensor achieves a switching distance of 1.5 mm. Its cylindrical housing is made of 1.4305 stainless steel and features an M8x1 mm thread. The electrical connection is made via a 3-wire, 2-meter-long connection cable.
