Laser sensors - Diffuse reflection sensors with background suppression
The PT120320 is a sensor based on the function of a laser diode as a light source. The laser light emitted by the laser diode is evaluated by a receiver and, due to its special features, is suitable for applications where a high resolution is required.
The sensor is designed as a diffuse reflection sensor and evaluates the direct reflection of surfaces at a preset distance. Various solutions are available to ensure that the sensor functions independently of background reflections and colors.
The cylindrical PT120320 operates in a distance range from 20 to 150mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications where precise measurements are required.
