The PT120320 is a sensor based on the operation of a laser diode as a light source. The laser light emitted by the laser diode is detected by a receiver and, due to its special features, is suitable for applications that require high resolution.
The sensor is designed as a diffuse reflection sensor and measures the direct reflection from surfaces at a preset distance. Various solutions are available to ensure that the sensor operates independently of background reflections and colors.
The cylindrical PT120320 operates within a distance range of 20 to 150 mm and is therefore suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring precise measurements.
