Don't go crazy right away...

With the new programmable encoders, ipf has added a real highlight to its portfolio. The encoders have a compact, robust housing and can therefore be used for industrial applications in harsh environmental conditions.

Two solid shaft types with diameters of 6mm and 10mm are available, as well as a through hollow shaft with a diameter of 12mm for mechanical adaptation. Thanks to the intuitive software, the encoders can be easily parameterized via a PC without the need for an additional programming module. The programmable parameters include the setting of the pulse counter (1 - 65536 pulses/rev), output stage (HTL/TTL), direction of rotation (clockwise/counterclockwise), position of the reference signal Z (0° to 360°) and inverted output signals (A-nA / B-nB / Z-nZ). The data records can be saved and therefore easily transferred to other encoders. This means that long machine downtimes can be avoided.

The advantages of the new encoders also include a reduction in the number of variants and thus a reduction in storage costs. Another advantage is the short delivery time. The axial connection is made via an 8-pin M12 standard connector. Various mounting options are available as accessories.
