Some like it rough and changeable

They feel at home in extremely harsh and changeable environmental conditions - the atmospheric-change resistant inductive sensors from ipf electronic. The housing is made of resistant V4A, the sensor surface is made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as Teflon), the sealing between the sensor cap and housing is made of Viton and the cable sheath is made of FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene). These materials are characterized by their high chemical resistance, which, in combination with the high degree of protection IP69K, means that the sensors can withstand even aggressive cleaning processes with heavy water exposure without damage. They are also pressure-proof up to 10 bar and have a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz. The sensors can also be used at maximum ambient temperatures of 120°C instead of the usual 70°C.

The switching distances of the individual designs are within the usual standard range for inductive sensors. From the M18 version upwards, the sensors have an exclusive-OR output function, i.e. normally open and normally closed functions are available simultaneously.

And as the ipf electronic portfolio is constantly being expanded, versions with 5 or 10 m cable tails are now also available in addition to the 2 m cable versions.
