Flexible mounting systems for sensors

Basically, nothing works without sensors in today's mechanical engineering/plant construction. Wherever parts need to be checked for presence or position, light barriers or diffuse reflection sensors, inductive or capacitive proximity switches or even ultrasonic sensors are used.

Suitable mounting is just as important as the sensor itself. An incorrectly mounted device can lead to erroneous operations or even production downtime. In order to enable precise and flexible mounting of sensors, the product portfolio has now been expanded to include an individually mountable mounting system. The system consists of an aluminum tube with a diameter of 12mm, which is available in lengths of 200mm (AY000159) and 500mm (AY000160). A variety of clamp holders are available to securely fasten the transducers. For the foot clamp holder AY000161 and the clamp holder AY000163, the magnetic AY000162 is also available, with which the mounting structure can be easily attached to a magnetic machine part. The AY000164 mounting clamp holder is equipped with an M6 inside thread.

The stainless steel mounting brackets AY000168 - AY000171 for the M8, M12, M18 and M30 designs can be attached to it. The AY000172 mounting bracket is also available. This is supplied without fixing holes and can therefore be individually adapted. In addition, the already familiar universal mounting brackets with ball head, for example AY000120, can be mounted on the AY000164 surface-mounted clamp bracket.
