The sensor in a robust plastic miniature housing (degree of protection IP67) with integrated 4-pin M8 connector is ideal for robotics applications. The measuring range of 20...100mm can be set via the teach-in diffuse reflection sensor on the sensor or via the integrated IO-Link interface.
The IO-Link interface also offers other interesting options, such as the choice between different teach-in procedures, inversion of the characteristic curve or evaluation of the signal quality.
