Inductive proximity sensor, analog and switching

The IB21A795 analog inductive sensor from ipf electronic offers high performance in a small space.

The sensor has a linear characteristic curve with constant sensitivity via the entire measuring range from 0mm to 10mm, enabling simple evaluation in the machine control (unit). In combination with a resolution of 0.01mm with a repeat accuracy of less than 0.015mm and low temperature drift, this ensures high process quality in the application. The various switching options of the sensor can be set directly via the teach-in button. This means that both an analog signal with zero and end point in the measuring range (also invertible) and a window function can be taught in quickly and easily. In addition to the 0 to 10V analog signal, the sensor also supplies a digital signal for evaluation between the taught switching points.

The low response time of less than 3.1 milliseconds for the taught-in characteristic curve and less than 2.5 milliseconds for the factory characteristic curve as well as the robust plastic housing in IP67 with M8 connector round off the sensor's performance spectrum.
