Close the door - save energy and costs!
Due to constantly rising energy costs, it is becoming increasingly important for companies to think seriously about making savings in this area. A particularly large amount of heat is lost through open industrial doors, for example, which causes immense costs. And then the hall has to be heated up again at great energy expense. Doors that close automatically can make a decisive contribution to saving a lot of energy. And the RT55, RT71 and RO71 series of radar sensors from ipf electronic provide the right solutions for precisely this purpose. The RT55 and RT71 series radar sensors detect the movement of people and/or industrial trucks, allowing industrial doors and gates to be opened and closed automatically depending on the situation. The radar sensors are insensitive to soiling and can detect objects depending on their movement direction in order to optimize the opening cycles of the doors. People can also be masked out so that the sensors only react to the approach of vehicles. In addition, potential disturbing influences caused by moving objects, e.g. branches, in their detection range can be eliminated via the radar sensors' setting options.
The radar sensors in the RT55 and RT71 series are supplied with a 10 m connection cable and have a relay output. In addition to the radar system, the RO71 series sensor has an optical presence detection system that monitors the area in front of a gate to prevent contact with vehicles or objects when the gate is normally open. A relay with a voltage-free change-over contact is available for both the optical system and the radar unit. The maximum switching voltage is 42V AC/DC, the maximum switching capacity is 30W (diagnostic coverage) or 48VA (AC).
The optionally available remote control AR000001 can be used for convenient setting of the radar sensors.
