IO120128 All metal inductive sensors with IO-Link

Inductive proximity switches are playing an increasingly important role in automation technology. The preferred solutions usually include all metal sensors made of stainless steel. The new IO120128 is therefore an ideal addition to ipf electronic's portfolio in this area. The sensor consists of a one-piece stainless steel housing (V2A, 1.4305) and has an M12 plug connection.

The IO120128 is short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, designed for non-flush mounting and has a switching frequency of 300Hz. The operating temperature of the pnp normally open contact device ranges from -20°C to +85°C. Adverse working environments, in which the use of oils and cooling lubricants contaminate the sensor surface, cannot harm this new product with a degree of protection of IP67 or IP69k. In addition, the active surface is pressure-proof up to 80 bar. The IO120128 also has an impressive switching distance of 15 mm (based on a norm measuring plate 45 x 45 x 1 mm, FE360), which is almost four times greater than the norm sensing range of 4 mm. The switching status is indicated by a yellow LED. The universal mounting AY000115 is recommended as mounting accessories.

Last but not least, the new sensor is IO-Link-capable and can be configured via the corresponding interface using the IO link master VY000005. The user also receives valuable process data via IO-Link.
