Proven solutions are available from IPF

You may be familiar with the following situation: a sensor solution is used in an application that has proven its worth to date. Then the device is defective and there is no longer a replacement because the solution has either been completely removed from the range or the technical specifications have changed due to further developments and possibly also the design with regard to the installation situation. On this page, we therefore present our "evergreens": sensor solutions that have proven themselves via years of use by our customers and that are still available from ipf electronic.

 

OT430471 - PT430470

The optical diffuse reflection sensors have an adjustable switching distance of up to 350mm and are available with red light or laser LED including background suppression. The switching point can be set very precisely via an adjustment unit using a screwdriver on the sensor. The sensors can be used in light-on/dark-on mode thanks to their exclusive-OR output.

 

IB080176 - IN080176

The inductive sensors in the M8x1 design have a triple norm sensing range of 3 or 6 mm. The devices are short-circuit protected, integrate an LED status display and can be used in a temperature range between -20°C.... 75°C can be used.

 

MZ070172 - MZ070174 - MZA70175

The robust cylinder sensors for T-slots are available in different designs. The MZ070172 and the MZA70175 can be inserted from above and are very easy to attach thanks to the 2.5mm Allen head. The MZ070174, on the other hand, is inserted laterally and is therefore flush with the cylinder. All sensors are short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection and can be connected via an M8 connector. The sensor housing is made of metal.

 

VL250100 - VL250120

The logic modules for DIN rail mounting are ideal for the logic operation of several sensors. Combining the sensor signals significantly reduces the wiring effort and saves valuable PLC (programmable logic controller) inputs, for example. Each signal is displayed via its own LED. The logic modules are available in the versions 4-fold AND or 4-fold OR and can be cascaded via an additional input.

 

KB080170

The device is one of the capacitive sensors in standard M8x1 design and is suitable for the recognition of plastics and liquids, for example. The switching distance can be precisely adjusted between 0.1 mm and 1.5 mm via an integrated potentiometer. The sensor is very robust thanks to the combination of stainless steel housing and sensor head made of PTFE.

 

VK003S78 - AV000132

The M8 connector impresses with its quick and easy assembly, which is achieved using a cutting and clamping technique, where only the outer jacket needs to be removed, e.g. with the AV000132 stripping pliers. The individual cores are pushed through a fitting sleeve and are contacted inside when the housing is closed. This saves a lot of time compared to conventional connectors with screw or soldered connections.

 

 

OT180126

The optical diffuse reflection sensor in the M18x1 design has a red light LED and background suppression, which means that differences in the color of the objects to be detected have almost no influence on the switching point. The sensors are equipped via a glass lens, which is also available in a 90° deflected version (OT180128). In addition, the sensors are available with both M12-connectors and connection cables.

 

IC080176

The inductive sensor in all-steel housing made of stainl. steel offers almost the same switching distance on aluminum, copper and brass as on steel. The device can be used as a classic inductive sensor or as a solution with IO-Link connectivity, whereby the IO-Link interface enables simple change-over between normally closed (nc) and normally open (nc) functions. A time delay is also adjustable.
