It's a dirty job. But someone has to do it!

When things get really dirty, high-performance light barriers from ipf work reliably and precisely.

ipf electronic has developed high-performance light barriers especially for applications where conventional light barriers reach their limits. Chips, dust, flour, oil and dirty water are no obstacle for these systems. The high-performance photoelectric sensors are therefore ideally suited for use in the wood and paper industry, car washes, elevators, outdoor gate control systems, bulk material controls or in the food industry. The through-beam sensors each consist of a transmitter and receiver as well as an amplifier.

The mode of operation is based on non-visible infrared light, which has very good penetration properties due to its wavelength of 880nm. If the light beam between the transmitter and receiver is interrupted, the switching output integrated in the amplifier changes its status. Transmitters and receivers are available in M12 round, Ø10mm or cuboid designs with cable or connector in M8/M12 versions and with various cable lengths. Depending on the device type, the high-performance photoelectric sensors achieve a maximum range of up to 60m. Due to the large angles of beam spread of the optics, the light barriers are very easy to install and can be aligned to each other without any problems.
