New ultrasonic sensor with convincing technology
A key reason why the tried-and-tested ultrasonic scanner UT210170 has now been replaced by the new UT210570 has to make way. The new sensor is almost identical in design (41 x 15 x 21 mm) to its predecessor, so that nothing should stand in the way of a smooth replacement in existing applications. At the same time, the UT210570 impresses with a number of technical improvements:
Mechanical optimization:
The new product has a robust metal connector as well as mounting holes amplified by metal bushings, which increases the mechanical load capacity and life in industrial applications.
Enhanced visibility:
All-round visible LEDs for operating voltage and switching state make it easier to check the status during start-up and running operation.
User-friendly configuration:
The sensor can be conveniently set via teach-in with a ferromagnetic tool or via the white core of the 4-pin M8 connection cable.
Extended measuring range:
With a measuring range of 10 to 250mm (previously 30 to 200mm), the sensor is ideal for precise level sensing in the smallest of spaces. The small blind range of just 10mm is certainly a unique selling point here.
Push-pull output:
A universal push-pull switching output ensures high flexibility in signal processing (PNP and NPN compatible, normally open / normally closed (nc) switchable).
Digital communication:
The integrated IO-Link interface enables bidirectional communication with modern control systems and offers extended diagnostic data as well as additional adjustment parameters for individual requirements.
Typical areas of application
Thanks to its compact design and degree of protection IP67, the UT210570 is ideal for use in demanding industrial environments, especially for level measurement in small containers or for object detection in automated conveyor systems.
