Oldies but Goldies - OL400321

The OL400321fiber optic amplifier is another classic in the ipf electronic portfolio. The housing made of die-cast aluminum is extremely robust and already offers integrated mounts for screw-on installation. With a large number of glass fiber optics in diffuse reflection sensor or through-beam versions, optical object scanning can be implemented even at installation positions that are difficult to access.

Furthermore, the fiber optic cables that can be connected to these amplifiers have the advantage that they are much more robust than plastic photoconductors and can therefore also be used at increased ambient temperatures. Even temperatures of up to 300°C are no problem with the corresponding fiber optic versions. A potentiometer for sensitivity adjustment and the DIP switches for sensor configuration are located under the removable amplifier cover; npn/pnp and light-on/dark-on mode are programmable. A version of this amplifier is the OL400721 with increased switching frequency and further setting options.
