The smallest of its kind - gooseneck light EB180170

LED lights with goosenecks are very popular, both in industrial and private environments. With the adjustable luminaire head, they direct the light exactly where it is needed. Direct illumination of a workpiece is therefore just as possible as indirect, glare-free illumination of a larger area.

However, due to the now very high output of LEDs, the luminaire heads have also become increasingly larger, as the heat generated during operation must be dissipated. If this is not done efficiently enough, the life of the light source is shortened. But what if a compact solution with a smaller luminaire head is required?

One of our customers was looking for just such a light up. Specifically, the solution needed to be adjustable in all directions and not exceed an outer diameter of 20 mm. The tried-and-tested LED machine and workbench light AO000291, whose housing in the M18x1 design exactly meets the described requirement, served as the basis for the customized development. With an output of around 2W, it manages the balancing act between sufficient light intensity and long life. The light up is connected to a gooseneck via an integrated connector.

At the other end of the gooseneck is a stainless steel base with an integrated M8 connector for the electrical connection on the lateral side and an M6 thread at the bottom. The thread can be used to screw the light up into the slot nuts of aluminum profiles, for example. Mounting using the AY000128 or AY000129 magnets is also possible. A nut is supplied as a counter element in order to be independent of the depth of the threaded boring during installation. The VY062174 switching module developed especially for this solution serves as the on/off switch. If you still want a little more: The EB800120 light, which is also new and has a stable screwable base, has an output of 9W and has a gooseneck with a length of 500mm. This light replaces the previous AO000347 and AO000348, which have been discontinued after almost 10 years. A table clamp, a wall bracket and a powerful magnetic are also available as accessories.
