Behind the Scenes - Production

Karin joined IPF in 2012 and has been an indispensable part of our team ever since. She started in what was then known as Order Processing - a role that today would be best described as production planning.

A few years later, she faced a real challenge. In 2015, her team leader left the company, and suddenly Karin found herself on her own. But instead of being discouraged, she stepped up, took on additional responsibility, and handled the situation with calmness, confidence, and a clear head.

Today, she works behind the scenes to ensure that sold products are replenished as quickly as possible and that requested items can be offered with the shortest possible lead times. Thanks to her experience and reliability, everything is in the right place at the right time - even if most people never see all the work that goes into making it happen.

Her favorite moments at IPF? Without a doubt, the summer parties and Christmas celebrations. They're a chance for the team to come together outside of work, share a few laughs, celebrate, and simply enjoy each other's company.

Outside of work, Karin loves spending time on the water. She took her first cruise in 1996 and was hooked from the very beginning. Since then, it's been "Cast off!" whenever she gets the chance. Together with her husband, she enjoys exploring the world by sea. She's especially fond of warm destinations, with the Canary Islands topping her list. And there's still one dream destination she'd love to visit someday: the Orient.
