Behind the Scenes - Order Processing

Bernd has been part of the IPF team since 2007, making him a trusted and dependable part of our company for nearly two decades. He began his career in Order Processing, where he quickly earned a reputation for his accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.

In 2017, Bernd stepped into the role of Head of Order Processing - a position that suits him perfectly. He ensures that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, from the accurate entry and careful review of orders for feasibility to overseeing the entire process through to shipment. Whether it's scheduling, resource planning, or maintaining complete process documentation, Bernd always keeps the bigger picture in mind.

He's the first point of contact whenever questions or challenges arise and handles even complex situations with calmness and confidence. In addition, he serves as an employee care coordinator, supporting colleagues whenever they need guidance or assistance in this area.

What matters most to Bernd as a department manager is his team. Through regular one-on-one conversations, he makes sure he understands how his colleagues are really doing. He lives by a simple philosophy: "Be happy at work, have the energy to enjoy life outside of it." Helping his team achieve that balance is just as important to him as achieving it himself.

And that's exactly how he lives his own life. Bernd is actively involved in his local church community and enjoys playing both the guitar and the piano. Together with his wife, he recently welcomed a seven-year-old foster child into their family - a reflection of the kindness and commitment that extend far beyond the workplace.
