Inductive all metal sensors from ipf

At the Hannover Messe, ipf electronic is presenting a series of inductive all metal sensors that reliably detect workpieces in metal processing and remain completely unaffected by chips.

Whether turning, milling, drilling or grinding: Metal chips interfere, and not just when workpieces or components are being machined, but also when they are being detected.

With the inductive sensors IO12012F (size M12), IO18012F (size M18) and IO30012F (size M30), ipf electronic presents three extremely robust solutions in a one-piece full metal housing (degree of protection active surface IP68 and IP69K), which are insensitive to chips made of steel, aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel. These sensors can therefore easily and reliably recognize targets made of steel, non-ferrous metals and stainl. steel without malfunctioning due to metal chips.

Depending on the version, the highly durable devices have switching distances of 3 to 12 mm, are pressure-proof (active surface) up to 80 bar (IO12012F) and can be used in temperature ranges from -25° C to +85° C. Another plus point: all inductive sensors are equipped with an IO-Link interface and therefore enable easy integration into the Industrial Ethernet.
