Monitors - Rotation speed
The monitoring of rotation speeds or rotating movements is required in many applications to ensure the proper operation of a system. Our rotation speed and standstill monitoring devices work according to different functional principles: 1. monitoring of pulses from a transducer 2. frequency measurement of the supply current using a current transformer. Depending on the type, our devices have a wide variety of functions. For further evaluation in a higher-level control (unit), the results are output e.g. as a simple relay contact (overspeed/underspeed) or as an analog output signal resolved to the set speed range.
