Optical sensors - Light curtains

Multifunction photoelectric sensors are light barriers that incorporate multiple beams. If even one beam is interrupted, the receiver’s switching output changes status. These devices are used in applications where a standard light barrier with only one beam is insufficient. Devices are available with beam spacings of 20, 40, 60, or 120 mm and various field heights. Integrated fuzzy logic automatically regulates the transmitting power.
